A New Chapter
As many of you are now aware I have moved to a new platform. I am back on the sell-side. I have always enjoyed this work, and joined Seaport because I think their platform can extend the reach of my work. And I vibed with the team. I have written a lot about the shortcomings of equity research in today’s world, and I think Seaport, with a start-up like approach, has the potential to deliver a modern version of what equity research can be.
For regular readers of Digits to Dollars, this will entail a few changes. I plan to continue writing a weekly, but it will now come from a Seaport email rather than Substack or D2D. Second, I plan to shift the content of that weekly back to long form articles rather than lists of links. This will cover all the usual D2D topics – AI, semis, RF, analog, compute and more. I will reserve my finance and stock-related posts for behind the Seaport paywall for institutional clients. I will also continue to work with Ben Bajarin on the Circuit every week. The Digits to Dollars site will continue to exist, but shift to more science and research topics (i.e. not stocks).
I can still be reached via the usual channels, but will only conduct business via mySeaport email.
For those of you new to my work – welcome – I write about semiconductors, electronics, hardware, China and more. Contact your Seaport rep, I would love to speak with you directly.
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to engaging all of you.
